Our guests experience team building through a range of activities including canoeing, climbing, high ropes and underground exploration. Their confidence, self-esteem and ability to work together soars throughout their stay as they learn they can achieve in ways they may not have even realised.
Ideally situated in the heart of the Northern Pennines, Weardale Adventure Centre has an abundance of natural beauty on its doorstep. Team building is a focus for our adult groups. Mine exploration, rock climbing and raft building are popular with businesses and hen and stag groups alike.

Using a combination of our fantastic onsite facilities and local venues, many of which we have sole use of, we’re flexible in our approach to your learning, and design bespoke programmes for every client and group.
We are in a unique position, being able to offer all of our groups a tailored programme, specific to your schools requirements. Whether you are a day visitor or residential guest, all aspects of our packages are flexible, from your activity selection to your meal choices. Our experienced, well qualified, friendly staff team will ensure you are looked after throughout the lead up and duration of your stay.
Sleeping up to 80 people, the Centre is a spacious and comfortable three-story building, with ample outdoor gardens for our guests to enjoy. Inside, the ground floor features a relaxing snug for the adults, a living room and large dining room where delicious home-cooked meals are served.
